FIX Protocol Dictionary by Version
Each FIX version defines its own set of messages, fields and values. Pick the version your counterparty uses to see its message types with their fields in order, and every tag with the values valid in that version. FIX 4.2 and FIX 4.4 are the versions most firms run. FIX 5.0 and its service packs run over the FIXT 1.1 session layer, so their sessions start with 8=FIXT.1.1. For a summary across all versions, see the FIX tag reference and the message type reference.
