Practical notes on EncryptMethod
EncryptMethod on the Logon names the message encryption scheme. In practice it is always 0 (none).
- The schemes in the enumeration (PKCS, DES, PGP, PEM) are historic. Sessions are encrypted at the transport level with TLS instead.
- It is required on the Logon in every FIX version, so send 98=0 even though it carries no information.
